Kaberi’s Indian cooking is about easy, healthy Indian cooking. In each episode, she explains to a group of friends how she is preparing the Indian dinner they will have together. She uses ingredients readily available in the West.
Episode 1: Curdled milk pudding (Chhanar payesh), Yellow lentils (Moog dal), Marrow (Lau), Okra/Ladies’ fingers (Dhanrosh) and a Prawn curry (Chingri maacher jhol), as well as Microwave Basmati rice (Bhaath – Basmati).
