Kaberi’s talent for dancing was clear from an early age. She gave her first performance (a duet and a group dance) when she was four.

Kaberi grew up in Santiniketan, home of the Visva-Bharati University founded by Tagore, where she studied dance.

Kaberi’s wider interests including art, aesthetics, gardening and cooking. She was even a puppeteer in You must be nuts!
