Kaberi’s Indian dance workout

 

Through this fun, graceful and original workout, Kaberi provides a practical introduction to Indian dance.

Kaberi has included basic movements and exercises from the Indian classical dance styles Manipuri, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Kathakali, as well as Indian semi-classical and folk dances. Set to specially-composed music inspired by North Indian classical and folk music, Kaberi’s Indian dance workout provides soothing but physically demanding exercise.

The DVD, which has a Dolby® Digital 5.1 surround soundtrack, includes:

- a 45-minute workout;
- a 10-minute daily workout;
- a 23-minute, interactive ‘Key movements’ section; and
- a Tagore dance choreography

In the ‘Key movements’ section, Kaberi explains and demonstrates the more intricate dance steps in slow motion. So you can make sure you can follow all the detailed movements of the workout.
